After Care

Why is aftercare so important? Simply put, it helps prolong the life of your lashes and takes care of the natural lashes. following aftercare is part of a team effort between lash artist and client. We will work together to keep your lashes healthy and beautiful, Queen.

After care instructions !

* DON'T GET THEM WET FOR 24-48 HOURS. During the first 24-48 hours your lashes are curing getting them wet, or being around heat or steam before the 24-48 hours weakens the bond of the lash glue. Steam aids in poor retention and high heat from a source like an oven will singe your synthetic lashes.

*STAY OIL-FREE FOR THE LIFE OF THE LASHES. Oils (like sweat) break down the glue aiding in poor retention. Use oil-free eye products at all times. (I.e. eye makeup removers, eyeliners, sunscreen, eye creams.)

* WASH AND BRUSH YOUR LASHES DAILY. After the first 24- 48 hours, It is a MUST to gently wash your lashes every day or minimum 3-4 times a week. Use an oil-free lash cleanser to prolong the life of your lash extensions and to maintain the health of your natural lashes. Blot dry your lashes or blow dry on low and cool/cold then brush your lashes gently with a spoolie after.

*BE GENTLE WITH YOUR LASHES. When it comes to cleansing, removing eye makeup, sleeping or just any daily actions, be gentle with your lashes. The more aggressive you are with them the shorter the life span of the extensions including damage to your natural lashes.

*NO MASCARA ON YOUR LASH EXTENSIONS AT ALL! This will close the volume fans and create a mess, along with mascaras, no lash strips, or cream or gel eyeliners ever. If you choose to wear mascara on you bottom lashes never use waterproof mascaras. Liquid eyeliners are fine just as long as they are NOT waterproof. Mascara will loosen the bond of the glue just like any other oil based product and your lashes will shed sooner that they need to. Remember, Lash Extensions do not stick to dirty lashes!

*THOROUGHLY WASH YOUR LASHES BEFORE YOUR LASH FILLS. Just like your first appointment, arrive with clean lashes free of any and ALL oils and makeup residues - anything that can accumulate on your lashes from not washing them properly and daily. If you arrive to your appointment with dirty lashes you may experience poor retention afterwards due to a coat of residue, oils, dirt or dust that may have been sitting on your natural lashes.

*GET A LASH FILL EVERY 2-3 WEEKS. Anything past 4 weeks will require you to book a full, new set. Keep in mind, the amount of your retention reflects the price of your fill.

*No pulling, picking, rubbing, tinting, perming, or curling of eyelash extensions
